about SFC

STEWARDSHIP ADVOCACY
If we practice what we believe, Christians should be the ultimate conservationists.  When God established humanity He entrusted us to be stewards of His creation. Christian sportsmen should promote the  protection, restoration, management and preservation of natural resources.

ENCOURAGE ETHICS

As Christians we are to live lives above reproach, setting the standard for others to follow. As sportsmen this means we are to not trespass or poach.  We are also to keep within the legal parameters set by  state and federal conservation agencies. Through our lives we hope to model integrity.

BUILD RELATIONSHIPS

We want to make and nurture new friends, build camaraderie through fellowship, and establish accountability for continued growth.  There is no greater place to spend time with friends or family  than in God's great outdoors.

guiding principles

PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS
Every person  has the opportunity to come to know Christ personally.  It is His desire and He has done almost everything to make that relationship a reality.  The rest lies in our hands.
EVANGELISM (OUTREACH)
As Christian sportsmen we have the message of salvation in Christ Jesus that is worth sharing to all we come in contact with.  Every believer is a missionary.  Every non-believer a mission field.
DISCIPLESHIP
As Christians we are to encourage, develop and mentor ourselves and others to be more like Christ each and every day.
METHODOLOGY

We use ever-changing methods to share a never-changing message.
